The goal of the Association is to promote and support the mental health of infants and young children, spread knowledge on this topic, and integrate professionals working with young children and their families.

Polish Association for Infant Mental Health was established in October 2023 in Józefów. The Association’s activities aim to:

• promote knowledge about infancy and its importance for human psychological development,

• support collaboration among professionals who work with infants, young children, and their families, and who are committed to optimal infant development and parent–infant relationships,

• promote knowledge about care, intervention, and prevention of mental health disorders during infancy

The Association achieves its goals through:

• organizing and conducting trainings, conferences, and seminars,

• hosting professional meetings for members and invited guests,

• publishing and distributing educational materials.
